The National Service Scheme (NSS) is an Indian government sector public service program conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India. Popularly known as NSS, the scheme was launched in Mahatma Gandhi’s centenary year in 1969. The National Service Scheme in Shah Satnam Ji College of Education, Sirsa was introduced on 06-08-2022. The NSS unit is undertaking the projects concerning social services as

Literacy Programme, Blood Donation, Tree Plantation, Child Welfare activities, Road Safety Awareness Programme, Skill Development Activities, Environmental Sanitation Activities, Health Awareness Programme, Yoga, Water Conservation, Swachhta Pakhwada, Cleanliness Camp, Rallies against Drugs, etc. In addition, Competitions and Debates etc. are also organisedfor students from time to time. The Seven Day Camps are also organised by the N.S.S. Unit. The aim of the camps is to provide hands on experience toyoung students in delivering community service for the important aspects of life.
